Leo Petroleum Jelly We manufacture and supply superior quality petroleum jellies for diverse industrial requirements. These are available in various colors, which may range from purest white to dark amber and have found wide uses in cosmetic, pharmaceutical and many industrial applications (protective coating of metals ).
We, at Leo, take every precaution to maintain high quality and continuously uniform properties in all batches. The jelly is manufactured according to the pharmacopoeia stipulations, which lay down the limit for ultra-violet absorbency to make sure that the jelly is free from carcinogenic compounds. According to Indian pharmacopoeia stipulation, the ultra-violet absorbency for white petroleum jelly, extinction of a 1cm, layer of 0.05 W/V solution in ISO- octane should not be more than 0.5 at 290 nm. These retain their gel like structure.
